You’ll support VAT analysis for cross-border services, intra-EU transactions, events and grant-funded projects.
You’ll help maintain clear and auditable documentation to support tax filings and tax positions.
Direct Tax Support
You’ll support corporate tax compliance activities, including tax computations and filings.
You’ll assist with international tax matters such as permanent establishments, transfer pricing support and employee mobility-related tax issues.
You’ll work closely with external advisers and consultants on jurisdiction-specific tax matters.
Financial Control and Compliance
You’ll reconcile VAT accounts to the general ledger.
You’ll support monthly, quarterly and annual tax reporting activities.
You’ll prepare tax documentation for internal review, statutory audits and external reporting requirements.
You’ll support audit processes by providing tax analysis, explanations and supporting evidence.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
You’ll work closely with Finance Operations to support accurate tax treatment in accounting systems.
You’ll collaborate with Business Intelligence on VAT-related reporting and analysis.
You’ll provide practical tax guidance to Finance, Procurement and operational teams.

Process Improvement and Tax Governance
You’ll help monitor changes in VAT and tax legislation across the UK, Netherlands and wider EU.
You’ll identify opportunities to improve tax processes, controls and documentation.
You’ll contribute to finance system enhancements that support tax accuracy and reporting.
You’ll build a strong understanding of GÉANT’s operations, finance processes and tax environment.
