We’re looking for a Sales Ledger Manager to join our Finance function, based in Amsterdam or Cambridge and operating in an international environment.
This role sits within the CFO team and is responsible for leading and optimising the end‑to‑end revenue and sales ledger process.
You’ll ensure accurate, timely invoicing, maintain strong financial controls, and manage customer accounts proactively. Alongside this, you’ll support improvements in systems and processes as GÉANT continues to evolve its finance environment.
This is a hands‑on role combining operational delivery, stakeholder management, and team leadership.
What You’ll Do
Revenue & Sales Ledger Management
You’ll own the end‑to‑end revenue process, ensuring invoices are raised accurately and on time, in line with VAT requirements. You’ll maintain the integrity of the sales ledger and oversee customer account setup.
Accounts Receivable & Debt Management
You’ll proactively manage customer accounts, monitor aged debt, and follow up on outstanding and disputed invoices. You’ll keep stakeholders informed on debt positions and escalate where needed.
Financial Control & Reporting
You’ll ensure strong internal controls across the sales ledger and lead month‑end close activities related to revenue and receivables.
Leadership & Team Management
You’ll lead, develop, and support the sales ledger team, managing performance, hiring where needed, and building a collaborative, high‑performing environment.
Continuous Improvement
You’ll contribute to improving accounting processes, systems, and ways of working, supporting the ongoing development of the finance function.
